Inside tanks, pump rooms and service chambers, metal covers and plates face a tough environment: humidity, condensation, chemicals and sometimes sewage gases. GRP (glass reinforced plastic) seal plates offer a practical alternative that does not rust and is easy to handle.
What is a GRP seal plate?
It is a moulded fibreglass plate, often with reinforcing ribs, that seals an opening below the main access cover. It keeps odours, moisture and insects contained, and adds a second barrier for safety.
