Type A, B and C grease traps

Removable baskets
A perforated sediment basket inside the trap catches food scraps before they reach the grease chamber. Lift it out and empty it daily in busy kitchens to keep the trap working properly.
Under-sink or central trap?
- Under-sink traps serve one sink or a small group of fixtures and are emptied often.
- Central or below-ground traps serve the whole kitchen, need less frequent cleaning, and need access for desludging.
Sizing basics
Size depends on the peak flow from sinks and equipment, the type of food and the retention time required. Always check the latest local authority requirements for your project in Dubai or Sharjah and size the trap to the consultant’s design.
Oil interceptors for car parks and workshops
For car parks, workshops and wash bays, a PVC oil interceptor separates oil and fuel from surface water. We supply 50 GPM and 55 GPM models with sediment and oil drain buckets.
Maintenance tips
- Empty the solids basket daily in busy kitchens.
- Remove the grease layer regularly and keep a cleaning log.
- Never pour hot water or chemicals to “flush” grease through: it only moves the problem downstream.
